Abhyangam
Full-body warm-oil massage
Warm medicated oil applied across the body in long, methodical strokes.
Panchakarma
BAMS-led Ayurveda care, including warm-oil massage, forehead pours, herbal-powder work and rice-bolus treatments from Kerala’s tradition.
Ayurvedic medical oversight
Pranavam has BAMS Ayurveda doctors on staff. They lead and supervise Ayurveda and Panchakarma care, while trained therapists carry out the prescribed hands-on treatments in private rooms.
Relevant health history, current medication and reports are reviewed before the team confirms a treatment or course. Do not stop or change prescribed medication without the clinician who prescribed it.
At Pranavam
The treatments differ in material and method: warm oil and coordinated massage in Abhyangam; a continuous forehead pour in the dhara therapies; dry herbal powder in Udhvarthanam; and warm rice-and-herb boluses in Njavarakizhi.
A session includes time to change, the prepared application itself and a short rest. Some therapies can be booked once; a course groups repeated sessions with recovery time between them.
