Founded by Dr. Athira Thampy, BNYS, Pranavam offers residential care with accommodation and meals, while continuing to welcome day patients by appointment.
The clinic
At Pranavam, hands-on Ayurvedic therapies share a roof with naturopathy, yoga and nutrition. The clinic has private treatment rooms, a dedicated yoga studio, space for one-to-one work and residential programmes that include accommodation and clinic-planned meals.
The four disciplines
Mud applications, hydrotherapy and practical lifestyle work form the clinic’s naturopathy practice.
One-to-one and small-group sessions combine movement, breathwork and stillness in the yoga studio.
Written meal charts cover timings, portions, substitutions and familiar everyday ingredients.
The range includes warm-oil bodywork, dhara, rice-bolus treatments and herbal powder massage.
The clinical team
Pranavam has BAMS Ayurveda doctors on staff as well as its BNYS founder and trained therapists. The team reviews relevant history, current medication and reports before confirming a treatment or residential plan.

The approach
A yoga session, a written meal chart and a hands-on therapy do different jobs. A residential programme can coordinate them within one daily rhythm while each discipline keeps its own method, materials, clinical lead and pace.
Most residential guests stay for 7, 14 or 21 days. Day patients can still choose a single service or shorter course when a stay is not needed. The common thread is restraint: each part of the plan should earn its place.
Traditional work depends on preparation. Oils, herbs, rice boluses and other ingredients are prepared for the method; single-use towels and other disposable items are used where appropriate. Hands-on treatments take place in private rooms with professionally trained therapists.
