Concern guide 05 of 10
Recurring headaches can be shaped by sleep, stress, meals, hydration, neck tension and migraine biology. Support begins with knowing your usual pattern—and recognising when a headache is new or different enough to need medical care.

Understand the concern
Migraine can bring sensitivity to light, sound, movement and touch, while tension headaches often gather around the neck, shoulders and scalp. Knowing your usual pattern helps you decide what feels supportive on a given day.
Between attacks, yoga can focus on steady routines, easy breathing and comfortable neck or upper-back mobility. A simple headache diary may also reveal connections with sleep, meals, hydration or stress.
Champi and Shirodhara offer different routes into relaxation. Head massage focuses on the scalp, neck and shoulders, while Shirodhara offers a quieter, more still experience.
When to see a doctor
Get prompt medical help for a sudden severe headache; a first or worst headache with confusion, weakness, double vision or loss of consciousness; headache with fever or stiff neck; headache after a head injury; or a pattern that is worsening or changing.
If you are already receiving care, tell us about it so your sessions can be planned around it.

Strong breathwork, inverted poses and deep neck pressure are unnecessary and may be inappropriate.
Preventive routines are practised on stable days and scaled back at the earliest warning signs.
