Duration: 30–45 min Setting: Private treatment room Focus: Feet and lower legs
Therapist seated beside a woman reclining in a wooden chair, massaging one oiled foot while both legs rest naturally over folded towels

What it is

Warm medicated oil is used throughout, with focused work around the marma points described in Ayurvedic practice.

Each foot and lower leg is treated in turn, moving from the soles and arches through the ankles and calves.

Who it suits

  • People who spend long days standing or walking.
  • Those who prefer a focused treatment to full-body massage.
  • An evening session after a busy day.

Check before booking

  • Pregnant.
  • Foot or ankle injury, fracture, recent surgery.
  • Varicose veins, blood clots, peripheral vascular issues.
  • Diabetic neuropathy or reduced sensation in the feet.
  • Active fungal infection or open skin.

Before the session

Arrive with clean feet and clothing that rolls easily above the calf. Note any diabetes, circulation issue or foot injury.

After

The soles remain oiled, so take care when walking after the session.
